SEATTLE, Washington -- March 4, 2003 -- On last night's broadcast of The Gamesome Mac, the weekly Mac gaming radio program, hosts Sean Smith and Omaha Sternberg talked with Benson Russell, lead level designer on "Star Trek: Elite Force II," the first-person shooter in development at Ritual Entertainment <http://www.ritual.com/>.
Topics covered included an introduction to the game's single-player story, new multiplayer game types, commercially acceptable violence, Ritual's "Uber" toolset, and the level design process. ("Elite Force II" will be published for the Mac by Aspyr Media.)
Sean and Omaha also offered Mac gaming news and commentary and reviewed "Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds" from Aspyr Media and "Sloppy Sokoban" from SloppyDisk Software.
